There is not a next model. This is the only model that it's special Omni head fits on, and the head is doing most of the work, not the suction.

You either benefit from this because you're cleaning hard surfaces? Or you're better off using another vacuum. Not sure why so many people get angry over purchasing a hard-floor vacuum and not enjoying its carpet or upholstered performance.

I have one and this is great on any hard floor. It picks up a little on carpet but is not made for carpet.

This one is neat and works well and I would have kept it but my wife told me to return it because "it's a weak piece of shit". Since the purpose of it was that it would be small and easier to use but because she complained of its weakness then that proves that the v8 is not too big or too heavy. So I sent it back. At the end of the day it does what it set out to do well and was oddly satisfying to switch on and off. Also youll like it if you dont enjoy having to pull the trigger continuously on other Dysons.

Haven't touched our V11 since we got this a few weeks ago but haven't had too many big messes. Easy and light enough for the kids to use. Turbo mode is strong enough for any bigger stuff. Don't need to vacuum back and forth in zig zag patterns anymore. Just swipe around where the dirt or hair is.
