I mean, yea it's "cool" , but the whole concept is kind of mmm... idk, I guess you can argue the hardware might inspire you to play with it more than the VST, but i mean, the VST is lossless and records more easily if you guys just want production.

You can. There is a verry simple start up guide/card that explains a small portion of the functions. Basically, you turn it on, press keys (there are also built-in instrument buttons like on a regular keyboard) and play with the sliders and knobs until you like what you hear. the sequencer looks pretty straightforward as well, but I've mostly just done what I just described.

There is a lot this thing can do - you might look into YT videos for that, but for making and messing with sounds, it was easier than I expected (have used keyboards/pianos at times but never s synth)

I haven't heard whether folks have gotten them from Musician's Friend yet, but there were also sales on reverb, amazon and I think sweetwater, so there is some inventory out there. It goes pretty quick at this price though.

Ordered mine from Musicians Friend last week...chatted every day to make sure it was in stock and it would ship. EVERY chat they said it was shipping today....has NOT shipped and now they say it was a technical glitch and they should not have been listed on the site as they didn not have them in stock at all...wtf !!!!

Those were available for a hot sec last week....mine ordered from Musicians friend and was never shipped by musicians friend. I ordered within 30 seconds of it being listed and they said that they never should have listed it because they had no stock ...wtf...so pissed right now
