It is safe to assume virtually NO laptops that are 14" or less have upgradeable RAM. Assume it is not upgradeable, unless specifically noted.

I wouldn't say no. Plenty of 14" gaming laptops (and corporate/bulky laptops) have upgradable RAM slots. Only the "thin and light" ones most likely have soldered memory.

Most people on this website are not looking for these, or at least most deal posts have non-upgradable RAMs. Just open laptop deals page and see what is the percentage of laptops that allows you to do that
