I know people often complained about the 60 hz screen, or the vent location, but if I have this plugged into a monitor, with the screen closed most of the time, would this be the perfect laptop? It looks like the vents would be happier with the closed screen.

i have 500 at the moment, should i try hard to get an extra 250 after taxes for this ? thinking about selling my ps4 and everywhting with it

No…You want a minimum of a 3060 for gaming, and preferably 120hz screen.

This would be fine as a general laptop.

Someone told me in another thread that they returned this because they couldn't keep the lid closed. The vent design is just bad all around.

I can't believe there is this much discussion over a laptop with a GPU that's two generations old... And a 50 series at that. You can score a Dell G15 with a 3050ti cheaper than this earlier this week.

The G15 is two pounds heavier, with inferior build quality. That matters a lot to some people
