Depends!
I have used for compressor start wire to capacitor connection (not sure if this particular brand though). Make sure you are using the correctly rated, and is crimped properly. Loose connection or incorrect guage can cause bigger problems.

You can use them on AC power but I wouldn't crimp these to romex type wire if that is what you are asking.

The problem with these terminals is that the metal gauge is so thin, the crimp won't hold and if you bend the end a few times, they will break.

I would not use for a/c power!
