$15 for a mouse that will last you 3 years is actually a good deal

I agree. I've been hovering around slickdeals for quite a while and over the years I made some mistakes buying some cheap deals. Sure, a $5 raincoat keeps water off your back, but it's uncomfortable as heck. A $7 Bluetooth speaker makes noise, but it sounds like a subway car's PA system. In the end it's just cheap trash.

But if you can find a product that is at least trying to compete in a higher class, but for whatever reason, is significantly discounted, then the experience can be fine and some flaws can be overlooked. To me, traditionally a $15 mouse is a Dell mouse or unbranded POS, but I would pick up one of these as a backup and it would probably be fine - even if it dies after three years.

EVGA must have a glut of stock with large discounts on keyboards and mice. Heck, I'll bite to have some quality mice available when needed.

The X15 and X17 mice are also discounted on Amazon and EVGA's site just like the keyboards. Looks like the price has been floating around $15-$20 for a month or two.

Are their wireless mice any good? I see the x20 at $35, but I've read razer and Logitech top the wireless micr category

EVGA doesn't make good mouse. I had one for 3 years and the click starts to get stuck.

I've had to replace my G203 at least once a year with light to moderate gaming.

Any reason to upgrade my early 2000s intellimouse? It's starting to yellow a bit but still seems to work well.

Are these the ones that the scroll wheel breaks? There's been too many cheap mice deals lately to keep track.
