Have one of these in the guest room on top of an IKEA Haugsvar Queen mattress and it's super comfy. Just got bought another topper for and IKEA twin for the 3rd bedroom. Great deal!

I had better experience with natural latex mattress. Give it a try if you don't like the sinking feeling and overpaying for synthetic material.

I recently bought one of these at another store, and it's fairly good quality memory foam. Quite firm and supportive. I almost found it too firm. Added a Kohl's 1inch memory foam on top of it.

The versions at Costco and on Amazon seem to be very low quality memory foam, though, so avoid. Hopefully they haven't swapped out the two foams.

I purchased on of these a couple of years ago and later returned it. When cold, it was like a slab of cement. Once it warmed up it was softer but became HOT. Keep in mind, getting the topper back in the box it came in was like entering a WWF ring. I am a big muscular guy, and it was a battle. If it was a small person like my Mother, she would have had no chance to crush it back to its original packing size. A regular memory foam pad is no big deal to squash into a box, but this thing was on another level perhaps due to its density. LoL

I wonder how this compares the the Nova foam mattress topper available for about the same price from Costco.
There are a few options, but here's an example:

https://www.costco.com/novaform-o...76301.html

The Costco one at least has an excellent return policy.

Zinus memory foam mattresses used (and may still do) have fiberglass as a fire retardent. It would leak and get everywhere, which is really bad for you.

I wonder how these are in that respect?

Didn't Costco sell Tempurpedic memory foam mattresses?

The secret is to keep all the packaging, and then roll up the pad as tight as possible, then put it into a strong plastic bag, and use a shop vac to suck all the air out. This will shrink it down without any effort. See youtube for examples.

Nothing but foam and fabric on the topper. No fiberglass. In fact, no one puts fiberglass into toppers, just mattresses.

What about specifically Tempurpedic mattresses?

Thank you for posting this. I'm going to pass. Sounds like I could have just gotten a cheap memory foam and it might even still be better than this. At least expectation would be lower than a name brand.

Not totally true. Some Manufacturers put all kkins of foriegn material 8n the soup before they bake to give memory foam extra weight to claim higher weight for firmnest and qulity. There is 33.3cubic feet in a 12 inch Queen size mattress. A 5lb queen mattress should weigh 33.3x5=165 lbs. Yet shipping shows 100lbs. If th e math doesnt add u then neither does th mattress or topper. Thus they put sand and all kinds of junk to give extra wieight. Buy certified products.
