They aren't even in the same price range. A Mexican made tele will run you $700 new.

Ordered the last deal- figured it was a cheap guitar and I'd strip and repaint it. Damn thing showed up completely cracked and broken on the corner (thinking shipping here). The RMA process does not progress until they settle a claim with the carrier apparently. Not super thrilled! Will probably buy this as well though in the mean time for a fun toy. Why? They seem to be making it right so although it was annoying and is still annoying until resolved, at least they are standing by it and seem to want to make it right. Also, it essentially costs nothing so why not!

Just got my Cali mini this week. The bag it comes with is nice. Please with it, though the frets will almost definitely need to be filed. Already cut my hand on them.
Good, I am pretty new to Guitar scene - it all started someone commented about RockSmith for the other post for the Acoustic Electric guitar. I ended up getting Acoustic electric and then Rocksmith game with cables and now this electric - don't know if I will actually learn.

And I was confused which size is best suited for a beginner like - full size or 3/4, I liked how the Cali mini looks but don't know what are the differences other than size

I have a Epiphone Les Paul and a Strat, but I always wondered about a Tele. I figure Prince, Springsteen, Tash Sultana et al much have known something since they used Teles a lot

Well I bought this a few weeks ago and really like it for its slightly wide frets on top. Its also easier for me to hold since I have a longer torso that makes the Les Paul uncomfortable. I have a little buzz on the low E (6) string but I haven't really tuned it up or had any sort of set-up as usual. For $70 it was worth the exploration. I think I like it better than the Strat just as far as playability go

It's great for a beginner. If you love playing, you can always upgrade or put money to another guitar, and if it doesn't take, you're not out much. Tele's are an incredible model. Super versatile, from country to rock.

I was regretting not purchasing the 88 dollar deal a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to get one to learn. Glad this came up before I got one off fb marketplace. Thanks op!

Those of you that have recently ordered this, how long did it take to receive it?

This or a Mexican-made Telecaster?
I would pick this one based on the simple fact that it has a .035 decimal sound reflector vs the .032 on the tele. Might seem trivial but that .003 really makes a difference.

I had that problem. Online someone suggested clearing the cookies in the browser. It worked after that. Or probably easier, use a different browser.
