I have an inflatable hot tub. I highly recommend them. They are STUPID easy to take care of, I have spa up that increases PH and Alkalinity levels, a non chlorine shock chemical and I use chlorine tablets. That's it. Every 3 days I'll wash off the filter and pour in chemicals if needed. Draining the hot tub is extremely easy, at the bottom there is a plug just like a faucet, hook your hose up to it and drain it in the yard or a nearby sink/drain or anything. Generally the water drains slow enough where you aren't going to create a giant pool of water in the backyard, the ground will soak it all up. Mine has lasted 1 year so far and I even left it up in the winter with very low temps, BUT if you are going to do that, make sure to wrap the tub with insulation and also put the tub on insulation boards or foam. You also should put the heater inside a cardboard box and throw insulation inside that cardboard box to keep the heater nice and warm inside the cardboard box during the winter. It only costed me like 60 bucks to winterize the tub and it worked very well, not to mention the winter is the best feeling time to jump in a hot tub, it's super cold and getting in a hot tub feels so good. I don't really like getting in the tub in the summer.. it's too hot already and not very pleasant.

OP, you leave the water in it and you treat it with chemicals like a regular hot tub or pool. You also generally leave the heater set pretty high (95ish) so it doesn't take long to get up to usable heat (101ish to 104) which means you have to leave the filter running all the time so that the enclosed hot water doesn't get funky.

Great find OP, this should go fp although the YMMVness is a bummer. Four stores have it at this price here, one at $300, rest sold out. Been a long time since one of these hit $200. We got ours at $300 last March and it's been great for my back.

Good price on this. I have the Coleman Palm Springs Saluspa and use it almost daily. Very easy to take care of.and surprisingly sturdy. Even still, if you get one, you have to actively stay on top of it with the chemicals and filter to keep it working properly. If the filter can't keep up with it, it will shut down on you, and then you'll end up having to wait to use it. Additionally, make sure this is the size you want. The 2-4 person Saluspas are good for 1-2 people. The Palm Springs I have is 4-6, and there's no way I would want 4 people in it, but if I jump in it by myself, it's just large enough for me to stretch out comfortably.

Also consider any extra you might need behinds chemicals:

Extra filters
Base for the hot tub to rest on
Skimming net
Floating vest (I use this so I can use it like a pillow against the interior of the hot tub)
Stools if you don't want to sit on the bottom of the hot tub
Tables (The Saluspa I have has two cup holders on control unit)
Book holders if you plan to read
Vinyl treatment to protect from the sun
