I followed the advice of some YouTube videos and purchased some 1 inch foam squares that piece together like a puzzle. I think they are normally used for home gyms, etc. These go underneath so as to avoid the cold ground and make it more comfortable when you're inside the hot tub. This is great advice!
Our Sundance had lighting in the water that we dearly missed, so we found this after a little bit of looking around and they work pretty good. There's probably others out there, but in case anybody wants to try something fun. These come in a 10-pack and we only use two or three at a time, so I'm thinking it's a pretty good buy:

We also have this we use when camping. We move it back-and-forth between that and the hot tub: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SNW4...en-US&th=1
So that's 750kWh per month, or around $190 at the $0.25/kWh we pay here. I imagine it will be a lot less in the warmer months, but regardless, I'm going to go to HD today and pick up some NGX foam board to make a better cover from.
