I've had nothing but trouble with my first ever Samsung watch, a 4 Classic 46mm with LTE, that I quit wearing it. For giggles I mowed the lawn today and decided to give it another try. I noticed it had some update so was even more excited. I wore two watches a FitBit Versa 2 and the Galaxy Classic. My FitBit recorded 7800 steps roughly and my Galaxy watch recorded 621. Yes 621 steps for a 1/4 lot. Search Google for Samsung steps inaccurately being read and you'll see I'm not alone and Samsung responds with the same stupid steps to try that don't work. This thing is truly a paper wright to me at this point. For the record if I walk with my arms down around the house or yard and not mowing the lawn the watch seems to count the steps ok. The things just so stupid it can't figure out I'm mowing the lawn and must think I'm on a motorcycle or something. I've never been so disappointed in a product ever that I can recall and I gave only $50 for this thing (BestBuy Flip 3 combo deal) and still feel ripped off.
If anyone has a fix I'm all ears just make sure it's not in here as I've tried all that plus everything you can find on every Samsung forum and gave up. Tried a few things on YouTube but it was all the same thing.

Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking.
Thanks Samsung for informing me I didn't take real steps today. This company is truly retarded and I don't know of any other watch not smart enough to figure this out.
