Not really a great deal. Between the overheating, weak wireless connectivity, and poor battery life I don't think it's worth this price. Google Tensor and Samsung Modem seems to work terribly together. You might as well get the 6a and save money for the same experience.

I have a regular pixel 6. The fingerprint reader sucks. And the connectivity issues are definitely there. But that doesn't happen enough for me to get two aggravated. But the fingerprint reader is just terrible.

Pixel 7 will be out soon. Amazon tried to clear it out.
Yes, Target has it on sale less than $499.

Same here, I have never come so close to throwing a phone across the room than with this phone. The finger print reader is infuriating!

The fingerprint reader is no worse than the S22's.

This phone sucks. Google latest software is trash. They don't do diligent testings and always have silly bugs and performance issues.

And the resale and tradein value for these pixels are pretty bad.

I said the same thing to my wife when she mentioned about a month ago that missed a text and a follow-up text. It is hard to demonstrate that you are not getting something and verify that it was in fact sent. Connectivity with the AT&T LTE network using my Pixel 6 Pro is objectively worse than my Pixel 4 XL which I abandoned in May. Discovering there might be a problem, I've spent more than 12 hours with "advanced technical support" over the last month trying to see if the issues can be resolved. I have reloaded the phone, swapped sims and e-sims and after they have conceded multiple times that there is a problem their best solution is that I should trade up for another phone which of course they won't subsidize in any way despite it being an issue with their network and the phone that they sold me directly. I am going to start a warranty inquiry this week with Google support and see where I can get with this, but it certainly reminds me of the Nexus 6p class action that resulted in years of litigation and an out of court settlement where most unhappy customers got an $11 check with no apology.

I love my Pixel 6 Pro now that all the software bugs are worked out. At launch it sucked with tons of bugs. After a few months, with each update things got better. Now almost a year later it's a super smooth experience.

Got rid of mine immediately because of the finger print sensor. It won't work more than half of the time. Recently got 6As for my wife and daughter as a Guinea pig for me to try it out too, and although it is much better than the 6, it is still not as good as a physical fingerprint reader. When we increased the touchscreen sensitivity, it got significantly better and my daughter noticed it too. That wasn't the case with 6 though. I'm pretty confident again and might finally opt for another Pixel, but a Pixel 7 this fall.

I'm not a marketing professional, but dumping 6 pro for $649 when you just released 6a for $449 does not feel wise.

I really don't understand where the hate comes from. I've had my 6 Pro since day one and love it. Camera is great, fingerprint reader is almost instant. Admittedly it was slower before the update, but never unreliable. Device is super snappy, and battery life is good (not amazing, but definitely not bad).
The ONLY thing I strongly dislike is the curved screen edges. They're not always as responsive as they should be.

That's what happens when these engineers work from home, multitasking work, laundry, cooking, picking up kids and Amazon shopping. No wonder Google CEO is pissed.

Google should bring back the tried and true physical fingerprint reader in the back. worked great and was perfectly placed. not sure why all these companies must conform to a single design...sheeps

Really? I just moved to the pixel 6 from the OnePlus 8t and the fingerprint reader is almost instant on the pixel 6 but the 8t took a bit and wouldn't always read correctly.
