On top of that returns are only accepted if the item is defective, or the buyer must pay return shipping which i imagine for this it's a lot. And if they already sell returned/damaged junk as new and working then how can you trust that they won't throw you under the bus and determine your damaged/defective item is working fine and deduct the return shipping cost from your refunded $?
And imo with home audio you need the option for free returns for any reason in case the audio product doesn't stand up to your listening preferences or doesn't respond well to the acoustics of your listening space.
Edit: I stand corrected. The Woot product page states that there is warranty despite Woot not directly started as a authorized dealer on Pioneers own website. Read the woot warranty page below. There's a 99.9% chance this should be covered, however you all have heard of nightmare stories of Woot and warranties not being honored on new products.
I emailed Woot support to see if they can give us a definite answer

It is for Onkyo https://www.onkyousa.co
But not for Pioneer.

This could be due to them not updating the list but unless you have direct confirmation from Pioneer support themselves, my point stands. That does beg the question where Woot is getting these units from. Is it directly from Pioneer themselves? If true then you would be correct.

Anecdotally I've seen some horror stories with warranty even though it's owned and operated by Amazon. Wouldn't hurt to ask Woot support to be sure. After all this is a nearly a 1k investment.
