Whoever posted this must be from NYC. SWF is definitely not upstate!
Also, NEVER book airlines with 3rd party sites! Only book directly with the airline. Trust me- it'll save you when you need to change your ticket.
Simply not true. Had an issue with American recently and the wait time was estimated at 7 hours when I called at 8pm and they gave me the call back option. I received the call back at 4:00am (flight was originally scheduled for (5:30am). In the meantime I had already called Priceline that had a 3-4 minute wait and already had my flight adjusted.

Reviews are trash. If you roll the dice I suggest backpack carry on only. Find a laundromat. This way if things go wrong you're not out with your luggage. CS is another issue I've been reading about. Can't get anyone on the phone when it hits the fan. It's like flying a budget like Avelo and knowing they only have X amount of planes to service people. Planes not working, you're f--ked. Delay, you're f--ked. People have been stranded for lengthy amounts of time. Just something to think about. 'Sup Serra.

🤣 I read the title and thought, what a niche deal. Then I read your post and Googled the town. WTF?! I've driven through that place a dozen times going to all kinds of places. "Upstate" is pretty funny. I ain't mad though. When I actually lived in NYC I think I left Manhattan only a couple of times... to go to Brooklyn.

And the staff seldom posts the alternative - the airlines. Why? Because of the affiliate fee from Expedia. Expedia is notorious for complaints. But hey, as long as SD gets their cut, all is good with them. No ethics.

There's a spot in Reykjavik called the Laundromat Cafe, they've got a place to do your laundry while you can also eat and drink, nice place, visited there a few months ago.

Agree. For any changes or anything, you will have to go thru the booking site. I was on hold for 6 hours with Expedia. Never booked with them ever again. Anything. Not even a bicycle.
