Is it weird to want dual display port in a monitor? I like DP much better than hdmi and plan to hook up both a game pc and a work laptop to the monitor.
I see there are KVM switches, but they're not cheap

Put the work laptop on HDMI. Freesync usually needs Display Port.
I'm confused by this monitor... with 10 bit color, 4k, hdr400, and it's HDMI 2.1 port capped at 24GBps, even the DP1.4 can't receive the data this monitor is capable of displaying?
Am I missing something? The monitor itself is more capable than the ports they stuck on it to receive data. *without chroma subsampling ofc
Comparing this to a G7 which has similar specs, but 40Gbps so you can actually send 4:4:4 (no throwing away data) and display it.
