RE mower blades, a few minutes on each side with a good mill bastard file is typically all you need. Unless you have lots of nicks maybe, in which case, yeah maybe something like this. Then the filing bit to finish.

But there's got to be lots of better applications for this set of flap discs than sharpening mower blades.

I picked these up about a year back from an fb advertisement with the same deal. They have been great and outlast the cheaper ones I buy from hf. Cutoff wheels are also good and don't break easily.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. I use a lot of flap discs but never tried this brand. Please don't order these if you don't know what they are... Companies will stop offering these free to try promos if the whole internet abuses it

These are much easier esp for non pros to use.

Flap disks will slightly round the edge(can be mostly negated with technique) but Grinding wheels will overheat(blue) the blades in spots if you arent VERY careful.

So IMO these are better.. as well as faster.
