Anecdotally speaking, the P65Q9 was reduced by 300 dollars and had originally had a longer ship date but after I bought it, it was shipped the next day.
This is a different story though. If it does ship, it's very possible it will before Sept 6. Most likely will be cancelled however. This is like 60% lower than their previous lowest price.
Then it may ship. I'm glad it got cut off imo. Better chance for those who got a buy in. Aafes had hundreds of orders
I'm still torn on which unit to keep.
82 q60 for 1300 I got w 7 year warranty Costco
85 vizio 900 w 5 year warranty (cc adds 2 more years) on 3 year sams warranty.
I read vizio is buggy, and uses like 3x more energy than our Sammy. Gf said she wants the vizio, but idk.. the Sammy works perfectly fine for us. If a flip can be had easily for 600 profit I don't see why I wouldn't do it
How does this compare to my 2-3 year old Samsung q80? I have a 70 inch q80 and 75 inch q90 in living rooms and bedroom.
I like the q90 due to one connect box has all my devices housed in an enclosure or I'd swap it out

Probably for the best since I prefer Sony any way. I'm sure a lot of good 85 inch Sony deals will be popping up
82 Samsung is 29 a year
So maybe 90 a year
No big deal. But it's not my primary tv it's my gf's and idk. If energy prices double, that adds up over the years
My fear is it gives issues because software and leads to a less experience while paying more in energy.

As far as selling it goes, unless you find a sucker you are unlikely to sell a used large format tv at that price. People can buy it brand new in box for $1000, but if you are patient and find a sucker it might happen.
