hopefully someone isn't fired of a wrong listing that gets fulfilled.
I had about 3-4 friends who have worked in e-commerce. PM used to happen more often in the past and even back then none of them have seen people getting fired over mistakes like this. First of all, it hard to pin point the exact person to blame. Second, mistakes do happen and usually its resolved by cancellations.

Now if it slips through the cracks and millions of dollars of inventory is lost - then thats a single point of failure issue and usually thats when directors and above get on the hot seat.

Whats the local market for someone looking for an 85 inch tv?

And what are the chances someone wanting to spend 2k on a tv would buy from a stranger on facebook vs a big box retailer with warranty and service?

Not to mention the buyer would need to rent a van or truck to pickup

You could always provide the receipt, invoice or proof of purchase,or promise to help the person in case of a warranty claim.

Up to them if they are comfortable with going with it. At 85" it would be a harder sell but where I'm from everybody has a truck so that shouldnt be an issue. The issue is that person getting a friend to help him carry it home. This thing weighs more than a 100 pounds and is wider than anyone's arms.

when I have a product w warranty I always give them the info and receipts they need to continue a claim. no issues. print off all the all state info/receipt/give them physical receipt etc.

I just tell them to use my name when filing claim stuff. the company isn't any wiser to know or not if it was sold, I could be a friend etc doesnt matter the tv itself is covered. give them my number w the tv sale incase they ever need more info. or item

I feel TVs have a good secondary market. Although with so many cheap low quality TVs selling at big box stores, I am doubtful you would find someone willing to pay over 1200.

That's why I said BIG Flip truck lol. This is too big to hassle with flipping at police station etc. Definitely not come to my crib and pick it up type person ( that's dangerous on alot of levels)

How long does Sam's club usually take to fulfill online TV orders?

I have a plan. If this ships, im either:
A) sell it if profit is $500 or more
B) take down my current 75 inch sammy which is 7 years old and not 4k but does the job and replace with this 85inch vizio. Sell the 75 inch sammy tv for $300.

A few years ago there was a similar PM at sams club on a high model samsung, my order was in processing until samsung refused to ship it. Then it got cancelled. More than likely these TV's as well are not in sams club's possession and are drop shipped from a manufacturer warehouse. Fingers crossed vizio ships them!

They are. My 65 Vizio from the other deal came from a Vizio warehouse.
