a lot of SDers live in the bay area of CA living at home with their parents while over 30. They dont have room to put this in their tiny bedroom they grew up in, so either they put it in their parents living room, or sell it for profit, but not before taking pics for clout on the gram--no cap

I did not ask for it explicitly. It seems like that's standard procedure for this case. I was prepared to bring up the $100 gift card but pushed the idea of wanting the deal to be honored initially instead. I asked for the TV at the sale price to which they offered the $100. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. I will try the same. $100 is better than nothing, I guess for all the time I spent checking the order status every few hours almost every day for the past 10 days and also reading thru the entire comments on this deal.

Tweeted sams. Asked if they could reorder at the price i paid originally since its in stock. They told me pound sand but here is $100 gc and they extended my membership 6 months free.

Definitely would've preferred the TV itself instead but I guess lesson learned on expecting too much from a likely price mistake.

Mine got canceled. Talked to a manager about it, they offered $500 any TV. Ended up agreeing to just reordering this same Vizio for the same price. Shipped and arriving Monday.
