Like most Clif bars, loaded with sugar. 17 grams. Glorified candy bar.
Apparently everyone here is a professional "boiled chicken and rice" bodybuilder getting ready to hit the stage. $1 for a grab and go bar with 20 grams of protein that doesn't taste terrible is a deal.
People are missing that the name is "BUILDERS".

Our brains have been trained to become addicted to sweeteners in all forms. Just as concerning is that the source of protein is soy protein isolate. It's bad stuff.

You can do your own research, but the link above is a super short summary. I love mint and chocolate, but it's difficult to find protein bars that taste good and don't contain trash ingredients. But hey, at least it doesn't contain coconut oil, which I'm really tired of seeing portrayed as a superfood when it definitely isn't.
Source of information should be scrutinized

These taste fantastic, but I'll never eat another one because of the soy.

I don't care about sugar as I eat bars like this before, during or immediately after a workout.

I do care about soy. If you're a biological male, eliminate soy from your diet post haste.

If anyone knows of tasty bars with a good texture that don't have soy, please post it. Quest seems to be the only decent option these days.

Why no soy?
