I make a habit of checking out the clearance end cap at Home Depot every time I go there. It is usually near the hardware section at each Home Depot. Ask the guy in the tool corral where it is. Every store should have one.
I got the cosmetically blemished circular saw already for $99 way back when it was an FP deal. But I didn't have the belt sander. So I picked that up.
$85 for the circular saw and $70 for the belt sander. YMMV.

I'm hesitant to buy since all the reviews seem to point on horrible battery life and to get a corded instead.
I already have an orbital and sheet sander, so I'm not sure if it's worth getting the belt
Have you tried out the belt sander?

Besides, it's 70 bucks and most who have invested in Ridgid cordless products have multiple batteries.
