No vision issues. If you have the monitor you should share your experience with it. I'm only sharing my opinion. It's not like the color was bad or some silly review. It was a personal preference/experience.
But that experience doesn't make sense. Dim monitors are suitable in dark environments unless the monitor is defective or you don't know how to increase the brightness. Maybe your definition of dark is off.

Almost pulled the trigger but it's only 60hz, I needed the 120fps/144hz for my mac mini M1.
Why? I don't think M1 Mini can even output 120 fps @ 4K.

Bought the larger version of this at the last sale for about $300 from Samsung directly. Agree with the low brightness issues also very non uniform back lighting. Good image quality for entertainment but uses the usual Samsung image filter that kind of over saturates the colors. Not as practical from a computer monitor standpoint as text is not as crisp and contrast is not ideal.

Didn't return but I see this more like a TV than a monitor with some helpful connections for other smart devices

Besides low brightness there is no support for pip or pbp. For such a large monitor that is a must so you can see 2 sources at the same time
Glad you brought that up, was going to purchase but split screen is the reason why you buy a larger 4k screen. On Samsungs website there was a split screen shown but it was Dex over the user interface. You have to get the S70A to to access the features and blue light reduction as well.

True 32 inch monitor is quite big for comfortable office work so I want to split into 2 or may be pip with work and personal computer and have a kvm for usb keyboard mouse but this one won't work like that

I got the 27" best buy that was posted before (link below). Open box for $280. I don't intend to use it for gaming, but rather for 4k video editing. Should I return and get this instead? I have it plugged in via HDMI anyway.

I can't speak to this unit but I use a pair of U28E590 Samsungs at my desk. With this larger size you'll get lower pixel density but add a speaker and remote. One of the larger annoyances for me with these monitors is the hassle in switching inputs. Wish I could do it via IR. Built-in speakers matter less to me; the only reason I'd want them is the annoyance when a device tries to send sound to mine and I have to mess about to figure it out.

The U28 seems to be discontinued but I see sellers claiming new for about $300 on Amazon. You could go that way if you want a 4k monitor similar to this but with DisplayPort.

Seems like the options for 4k with decent pixel density that don't cost an arm and a leg (looking at you, Apple) are even worse than when I got these over 5 years ago.

The resolution and the refresh rate. The monitor is much higher on both

It is a VA panel. I'm partial towards IPS panels.

Except this is a 4k/60hz "monitor". The exact same as most TV's now. A canned response is worthless if you do not know what it means.

The real difference is that this has USB-C with 65w charging and a USB hub built-in which are very useful for a computer and not available on a TV.
