At least here I've got a real printed $10 gift card, not some metaphoric credit loaded onto the membership card which half of the times you have to fight for because it's not there. And only $15 upfront. Good enough for me

A lot of people trashing this over the $45 deal but this could actually be better for me if I can activate the membership online. Does anyone know if you ever have to go to a physical store?

Washington state doesn't have any sams club stores and there's one item I want to buy online that's hundreds cheaper than anywhere else.

No you do not need to go to a store if you get the $15 deal. You set up on line and you can order online.

Since your membership expired more than a year ago, you count as a new member so the deal should apply even if you sign in. Though to be on the safe side and make sure the deal applies I would just create a new account.

Same thing, I added it to Walmart and it says it was already used in July for me. What the heck?

EDIT: Contacted StackSocial support, not very confident they'll be able to solve this but worth a shot.

I don't shop in-store at Sam's much, so this was an easier way to get a membership, without having to make use of $45 of Scan and Go savings. Was able to buy the membership, immediately activate it online, and apply the $10 gift card to an online order. All within 10 minutes. I've had issues with Sam's membership offers in the past, and paying $5 out of pocket and not having to waste my time going to customer service or chatting with one of their reps online, seems like a win to me. Thanks for posting.

FYI -- I had no issue redeeming my $10 gift card, like some are reporting. Just bought my deal this morning and immediately redeemed the gift card.
