I feel with the more recent QC issues, you are better off buying these used (look for "Made in Ireland" models). At least on the used models, you have more of an idea on what you are getting. I have had two sets of these and used as my daily drivers twice (first time in 2019 for around a year, then again in 2021 for about the same). I can't tell you about the quality of the ones made outside of Ireland, but if you find a set from the Ireland factory they are durable and seem to last.

Glad I grabbed a pair for $180 ($200 - $20 coupon) during a sale back in late June. Great headphones! I enjoy listening to them while listening to music and watching tv and movies.
