The good thing is Mortal Kombat was at the top of my wishlist anyways.
I like the Shantae games and want them on my cabinet when I build it. I've got Attract Mode setup to launch all sorts of stuff on one system. On another system I have Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero running smooth as glass using the DRM Free GoG version running with Lutris so it will work on Linux. How exactly to make native/WINE games exit from the front end sort of eludes me. I have made some scripts that basically restart the X session with a hot key when my kids launch native Linux games, but not having a single hot-key kill for native/WINE stuff is a stumbling block. Sometimes I prefer ROMs over native just because emulators are easier to control in a cabinet environment.

Yeah I settled on Launchbox as my front end after literal years of trying everything out. It's fantastic. My cabinet is coming along so nice
I have my wires crossed!
I had Launchbox on my HTPC - which is nice.
My arcade-like system I use AttractMode. AttractMode is the one I use in Linux and have the X-restart hot-key on. Launchbox is mostly native Windows, but I do have some emulation going on.
I actually paid for the lifetime Launchbox license I like it so much.
I'm on the spectrum and I sometimes have difficulty matching concepts with proper words. I have a genius level I.Q. and can work in complicated systems all day, but if I open my mouth or write often stupid comes out. Sorry about that, so apply AttractMode in my previous post. LaunchBox is super awesome also, my biggest issue with it isn't actually LaunchBox, but all the other providers logging out and needing me to log back in all the danged time.
On my normal Linux stuff (my HTPC was my only Windows system) I like to use Lutris. It has a lot in common with LaunchBox without BigBox but the big thing is it makes installing Windows games easy. I can work out WINE issues the hard way if I want, I have the skill, but I would rather not. Lutris makes it much easier.
