these are less efficient than the window mounted ones.

WE KNOW. People mention this in every single deal thread for portable A/Cs. Some of us have vertical windows, dude. This style is our only option.

Two things I learned this summer.

DC Motor fans and inverter based A/C

I'll never go back, they are so much more efficient, quiet and use way less power even if they cost more initially.

Lot of "out of stock - 1 left" or 2 left results, does that mean they have that many it's just not available for online order. Even BS shows no stock at a lot of the stores saying 1 or 2 but I'm wondering if that's just how it pulls data.
