BabyBliss Rapido, Drybar Buttercup, Sam Villa Artist Series, and even the T3 3i are considered similar or on par with the performance, for much less money, and will probably last longer.
The Dyson is smaller and more quiet than any of the others, but also has more reliability concerns
It's also good to understand whether your hair type works better with ionic or not.
I never see people saying squat about splurging 1.5k on a some Oled 4k TV or 3070 gpx card. 🤔

Nope.. I have 28+ credit cards with over $320k total "credit". Fico score is hovering between 820-835. Length of time when you had the credit card is very important.

The Shark attachments are more adjustable / feature-filled. The diffuser on the Shark is much better for curly hair. The air intake on the Dyson may get annoying with it being at the bottom of the handle if your hand slides down to it. The Dyson is nicer in that it can blow cool air without holding a button. The Shark does collect hair at its intake, so you need to be more mindful about cleaning it.
A lot cheaper. Can buy a 2nd one from them for 50% off + 10%-15% off if you sign up for text alerts (and immediately unregister after 😀).
After 7% tax I ended up paying $170 for the Shark (bought 2)
For that price, the warranty itself is killer. If you really want a lifetime warranty you can pay extra, but read the fine details. I wasn't a fan of it if it broke within 5 years.
