BabyBliss Rapido, Drybar Buttercup, Sam Villa Artist Series, and even the T3 3i are considered similar or on par with the performance, for much less money, and will probably last longer.
The Dyson is smaller and more quiet than any of the others, but also has more reliability concerns
It's also good to understand whether your hair type works better with ionic or not.
I never see people saying squat about splurging 1.5k on a some Oled 4k TV or 3070 gpx card. 🤔

During the pandemic I was looking for a new graphics card and most of the "negative" comments were people angry about hoarding and creating an artifical demand, asking if it's possible to farm Hash or some other coin, or people saying to hold out for the next gen.
I've been in PS5 threads looking for one for a friend. Yet again, most" bad" comments are from people angry about hoarders.
Although it's beyond unfinancially savvy, I've looked at the Oled TV without a desire to buy one to see what the fuss was about.
None of the above have the same ratio of negative/positive comments that expensive items, usually target for people that identify as a woman, get. Just on the Dyson hairdryers, the ratio is always around 60 positive or neutral /40% people talking garbage.
I imagine you're looking for one since you felt the desire to comment as well. Did you get it in fushia?
Also, I often dive into the threads that are high end (top chef knives, electronics, watches etc) all the time because I buy. That's why I know that your very rudimentary attempt at assigning some ratio of negative/positive comments is a bit ridiculous and based upon nothing numerical at all. Check out a chefs knife thread, or a Staub or Le Creuset or All Clad thread (of which I own and use at least a dozen). They are full of nonsense about wasting money. Or are you sexist enough to feel that those are "women's" products?
Thank god there was a man that posted in this thread that he actually uses this product. It's not a "woman's" product. And unless it's a tampon deal, you're not the arbiter of what is a woman's product. Period.
Slickdealers are equal opportunity trolls when it comes to trashing deals on high end items that have substitutes they feel adequately can replicate the use case. Of which there is none for a PS5 or high end graphics card (your examples). Which is why they don't trash it.
