I just switched to this case. This is somewhat accurate yes you need to take it out to get the power supply in but with good cable management there's room to put it back in
I really wanted this case, but after watching some YT videos I realized that the hard drive caddy inside is basically a throwaway. You need that space for cables coming from the Power Supply.

Unless you need a massive drive for video editing... Why would you use a traditional drive instead of a modern M.2?

Wouldn't HDD make more sense for long term storage? Like for backups of photos and videos

Do you have a link to your build? Or components listing? I want to use the same processor and case for a content creation build. Thanks in advance!
Yep! Here you go: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Phy48d

Running 10x 120mm fans in total (not counting the PSU). Have the HDD caddy in the default position as well when using the 3x side fans.

Just bought the Asus pc for $500 from walmart. Is this a good case for a swap? Haven't gotten the pc yet but I heard there were airflow issues.

This is a good deal, got this on a New Egg sale for $99.00, a few weeks back. Starting to see this price more often with the iCUE 4000/5000 cases. Keep your eye on the the product page on New Egg as well, they are bundling items in with purchase. I got a free Rosewill 750w PSU. Not bad for a home lab, kids, or general usage/light gaming pc.

I never saw such bundle deals. Would you please share some info.. you got at 99$ with power supply? ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ. That must be the best deal as here 20$ is mail in rebate. Hence including tax it comes as 129$

It was a NewEgg Live deal at the time, when I checked out via the card, stated a free gift would be received and that's when I noticed it was a power supply. If you happen to catch their daily "live" broadcasts either on the app or web, they curate a select amount of deals with some pretty good discounts on them, this case was on their for $99.00.

I see this case pop up, and the all white model pop up every once in awhile. Just got to be ready to pull trigger when you see this/the item you are looking for, as they state they only have "so many available" during their live show stream.

How does the mail on rebate work? If I were to mail it a day before the due date would it count since it might take 2-4 days to get to corsair?

the deal ended last night. shows up being $140 now.

I ordered last night, then cancelled after I saw another case I'm interested in. I kinda regret cancelling. I don't really need a new case anyway. I think its the best looking case out there, its one of the only cases, if not the only one that has glass on 4 sides. I'm interested in the LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic since its clear in the front and provides more view inside. if they could have made it like the corsair being all glass, it would be the perfect case for me.

Mine just arrived. The front panel had all of its tabs broken. Shockingly not the glass but all the plastic tabs that hold the top and right side of the front panel on were totally broken. Idk if shipping issue or packing issue but now I've got to deal with this... better not mess up my mail in rebate is all I can say

This and (more frequently) the 4000X have been my go-to recommendations to newer builders that want RGB (when they're on sale).

I personally wish they would make a "3000D" or "3000X" in mATX. There's a complete absence of upper-midrange mATX cases on the market. Fractal has recently released some decent options (Pop Air Mini, Meshify 2 Mini), but they're still in the lower-midrange in terms of build quality and features. I almost bit on both when they were first released, but top AIO clearance and being priced about $10-15 higher than they should have been (especially when there wasn't free shipping available) made me wait. Hopefully, the fact that new mATX cases that aren't bottom-of-the-barrel are being released at all is indicative of a trend and mATX will get a little more love from manufacturers outside of $60 Montechs and DarkFlashes (or worse).

I recently upgraded to a Lian Li O11 Air Mini which is configurable as mATX and I'm enjoying it, but the shorter-and-wider wasn't what I thought I wanted when I was researching (for several months hoping to find a diamond in the rough that I'd missed). Every other mATX offering in the ~$100 range seemed to make some compromise I wasn't willing to accept, usually in relation to AIO mounting options, memory clearance, 140mm fan support, etc. The Deep Cool Matrexx 40 is pretty much my ideal mATX case layout (I have one for my kids' system), but the build-quality just wasn't what I wanted in my own case. After buying the O11 Air Mini, it's a dream to build in, airflow is reasonable, and it's not a complete fishbowl like the rest of the O11 lineup.

All that said, if a "3000D" or "3000X" existed, chances are I would have paid MSRP and not thought twice about it.

I wouldn't get a small case that requires a SFX psu. rumor is the new nvidia cards will require a 1200 W psu. the largest SFX psu is 1000 W.

Very few mATX cases require an SFX PSU... maybe you're thinking Mini-ITX? The O11 Dynamic Mini is one example that requires SFX, but the O11 Air Mini that I have (and all the other O11 variants except the Dynamic Mini) accept an ATX PSU just fine.

Good to know, thanks. I was looking at the dynamic mini.

Good luck to everyone. They just sent my second one (replacement) out and the side panel was shattered. I can cobble together an unbroken one from the two they sent. If I hadn't got it for half off there is no way I'd keep it. Obviously very, very fragile
