This had been in SD since days for 299. Today the price has been reduced to 199$. Other details can be found in the older thread with price 299$

No. The SIM card should be in the box and not the phone.
no conversation about the new phone so hopefully they won't ask for the full price of the phone later because I didn't use their service. does anyone confidently say they won't charge for the device if cancel the service? now think of it, what if ATT sends bill after I trade this phone to Best buy for another phone so I can't even return the phone to ATT.
I did something similar ages ago with the galaxy s7 at bestbuy. Traded in a $10 prepaid phone to get the s7 for $200 and had to sign up for Verizon. Called Verizon a day later to cancel. Only paid for two days that I used. I did notice that bestbuy blacklisted me from any of their phone deals. All my orders would not go through, until this one.
Activate then cancel.

Thanks for the info. May be the difference is I ported over an extra free line T-Mobile had given me which I wasn't using. I'll see how BB reacts now. Yesterday I also traded that ZFlip-3 with unlocked S22 Ultra now. So I got S22 Ultra in 212 + 442 = 654 with Tax.
Thing is would I have bought this phone in original price? NEVER. But I did gave my 654 to Samsung/BB because of these deals so hopefully they don't blacklist me 😆

Trying to cancel via Chat but unable to get to a real person for some unknown reason. So I just click the email to setup the online account; after setup, it looks like my account is in status of "suspended". Is that mean I don't even need to cancel it?

That person was me. I would like to add that back the when this happened, I also bought about 60 prepaid phones from bestbuy on Black Friday. This may also have something to do with it.
I'm going to chat with att tonight and tell them im porting out due to bad service. I'll ask about my bill as well.
