It's a keyboard. I don't have this specific one but similar ones I've owned work with all OS even Linux. It's 2.4 GHz wireless and uses encryption so you need to use the dongle that it comes with. You can't just connect it to Bluetooth.

Barely any pictures of the supposedly included USB receiver. I mention because MS is infamous for unnecessarily large receivers. Dell and Logitech have receivers that barely stick out, but the one image that shows the receiver, it looks rather large.
