Energystar rated at 1.9L/kwh. https://www.energystar.gov/produc...ls/2371425
The minimum efficiency required for energystar rating is 1.6L/kwh, so this is better than typical for energystar rated dehumidifiers and almost as good as some of the really big whole-house dehumidifiers that can reach 2.4 L/kwh.
I got two of these about a month ago when the same Sams deal was posted. So far so good. Ran one in my garage in pump mode and it did a great job, but they say to empty the bucket every two weeks I think it is. Assuming that's because crap can grow in there.
Moved the pumping one elsewhere and am using it in bucketless mode, and another upstairs that I'm also direct draining but with the bucket attached for the added height for drain slope. That one is in my HVAC utility closet and set to maintain 45%. I built a bunch of microcontroller wireless humidity stations with DHT22 sensors to keep my whole house in check (I forgot how much it sucks to live in a humid jockstrap) and placed one in the HVAC closet. Over 2 weeks of logging (over 3,000 logs) and it's never hit 46%, hangs out anywhere between 40 and 45... so I'd say it's doing a good job and the sensor on the unit is reliable at least in my conditions. That closet exceeds 70% humidity without a dehumidifier so I'm pretty happy.

If you use 2 of these in a 400 foot room with 55% humidity, can you get the humidity down below 40% or does it just dehumidify faster?
