"The Team Group EX2 delivers fairly solid write speeds within its SLC cache. However, sustained write speeds tank drastically after the cache is full. The EX2 wrote 358GB worth of data at a rate of 460 MBps before degrading to snail-like speeds of just 15 MBps. Fortunately, the SSD implements fast cache recovery to regain some of that space if needed. After given just 30 seconds of idle time, the EX2 recovered roughly 100GB of its SLC cache. "

They may come with QLC according to SSD Database despite the marketing.
Ok for cheap archival storage or to restore an old laptop that came with a sata hard drive and the price is hard to beat (that seems to be the TeamGroup business model these days).

You are wrong about the second sentence. SSD NAND writes to TLC and QLC are actually very slow and depend on the cache to not let that become a factor in intended use. But sustained writes can easily fill up the cache and make the SSD slower than HDDs if they don't have some advanced tweaks to reduce recovery time, etc. Happens even in nvme SSDs. Budget SSDs skimp on cache and/or advanced controllers.
