Look for $10 off $50 coupon with paint perks signup or $15 off $75 with pottery barn Sherwin Williams coupon. If you have a chase card, some of them have 10% back - up to $10 max.

https://www.pbteen.com/tips-and-i...s-landing/

Be sure to sign up for PaintPerks and you may receive a one-time use coupon via email valid for $10 off a $50 purchase at Sherwin-Williams! Or sign up for Color2U Mobile Alerts by texting COLOR to 27579 and you'll get a coupon for $10 off your next purchase of $50 or more when you respond with consent to receive text messages.

You can combine 40% sale + $10 of $50 and chase 10% cash back and get emerald down to $35-36 per gallon + tax

Not sure about SW epoxy but in general make sure you use a 2 part epoxy for a garage floor, and if you want it to last use a topcoat (clear)..but prep is 1000% key..floor should be at least acid etched but IMO should be bead blasted / grinded down with a commercial grinder - should be a uniform scuffed surface before applying any epoxy.

If you skimp on prep you will just get peeling epoxy - and 1 part epoxy kits do not last. The house I just bought the PO threw some crappy 1 part Rustoleum epoxy on the garage floors and it is flaking off everywhere.

Personally I am going with garage floor tiles over epoxy and I love epoxy in general (it's the liquid version of duct tape, it fixes everything lol)

Seriously...we went from no 40% off for quite some time to twice in a matter of days. Profits are up, so no complaints. Seems wise on their part.

Does anyone know if they have a good alkyd water-base paint that would compete with Benjamin Moore Advance? I painted my whole house in Sherwin Williams ProMar 200, but need a water-base sprayable in HVLP for some built-in cabinetry I want to do. My normal go-to for this is General Finishes Milk Paint, but their color palette is super limited, and the prices are sky-high.

I know they have that 'pro industrial' stuff, but people complain it takes a WEEK to cure. I need something I can recoat in hours, not days.

Thanks in advance, I know this is a longshot.

Very glad to see this sale again. I was planning to go Monday night (we were away for the weekend) and then discovered, at 5:58pm, that our local store closes at 6:00pm.

I have a Chase offer on my Sapphire Preferred card for 10% back that's active until September. Worth checking to see if it's there -- should be a nice discount from S&W's typically astronomical prices since I'm buying at least three gallons for a couple projects.

Does anyone have any advice on what kind of paint to use for my basement bilco doors? They're 70 years old and are looking pretty rough.

Does this sale include the garage epoxy painting? Also, any recommendations for the epoxy for garage floors?

Even though My Darling has an account with an Interior Designer's discount, I still like to shop during their promotions. Used 7 gallons of Emerald on the condo walls so far and it looks like I'll need just one more. I'm sure My Darling will think of another project soon after this is finished. Wink LMAO
Two-story entryway went from Texas A&M maroon to Navajo White. THAT was fun!!!

I'd encourage you to look into polyurea coating instead of epoxy. It only requires one coat, doesn't yellow, and is stronger than epoxy. I coated my garage floor with it and it has held up extraordinarily well. I used the Armorpoxy SPGX and a paint roller, but any reputable brand will be good.

As the guy above me said, prep is key. You can typically rent the tools from your local Home Depot.
