One of the Review on website says -
"chute is extremely narrow. I got it to slice onions. I get the big onions in bulk to slice and fry them but the onions (even after cutting them into 3 pieces) couldn't fit the feeding tube, its very small and gets stuck at times."any one has experience with this specific model differing above?
If you check eBay, you can find the same item with a 2 year warranty through Allstate for free. If you buy direct from Kitchenaid you only get 6 months.

Thank you for pointing out warranty info. I'm going to return the main kitchenaid one and purchase from eBay.
It's compact and light, easy to use and to clean. All the blades cleverly store inside. It shreds slices veggies and cheese but not sufficient power for kneading dough or making nut butters. It can make small quantities of puree mayo and sauces. Personally I would buy this direct from KitchenAid due to their first rate c.s. and would ignore the alleged extended warranty on ebay.

When they don't include the watts up front or as a feature it's usually underpowered.
