looks like normal thickness. it just doesn't have the fake "no bezels" that most monitors have these days.

Missed opportunity on the lack of USB-C ports since this is their higher end monitor - would be so sick if they had found a way to incorporate some USB ports into the stand towards the base for ease of plugging things in/out. If the desk-mount stand isn't that big of a deal, there are better options for ~$300. I recently bought the 28" HP U28 4K monitor for $330 on sale from Best Buy (color calibrated, 400-nits, Thunderbolt/USB-C, charges my laptop up to 90W, and a really nice stand....albeit not desk-mount like this LG).

One of the main differences: The 32" one on Amazon has a VA panel whereas the Costco one has an IPS panel

I have two 32" IPS. I got one from Costco. I got the second one from eBay a few days ago at $250 before tax. They listed as open box but it was brand new. It had 0 hours registered in the he countered so I think it got lucky.
