I ended up ordering the Flex 5 off eBay that has an upgradable SSD. The reality is that without the ability to store movies on an external SD card (my primary use case here), I would only be able to download a handful of movies, and pretty much install only a handful of Android apps. My primary idea is to use this for movies while camping and as a "travel" laptop to replace an aging Surface Pro

Unless anyone here in Denver wants it, I'll likely be shipping this back later this week.

I received my C13 that I ordered last week. It looks excellent with typical Thinkpad like quality. My box came with a broken seal with some dust inside. But the laptop plastic bag seal was unbroken. So I did not mind the bit dust outside of the plastic bag.

I updated the OS and have been using it for the past few hours. So far so good.

I do have a concern regarding the touchpad. It is not clickable like my other Thinkpad (P1). It is too hard. I am able to scroll, tap, double-tap (right click), etc., But left click like a typical touchpad does not work.

It is normal. Is it how your touchpad behaves?

Is the Touchpad problem worth returning and requesting for a replacement?

Anyone know if we can claim a second $50 reward if it was already claimed on the first purchase? Looks like it is a one time thing.

Is the $50 still on? I can only see the 1 - 4% cashback.

So what is the microsd slot good for in that case? I will usually torrent stuff i already own and download it to a card for portability, hopefully i can still do that, usually use MX or VLC video player to watch the files

If you're torrenting stuff, that's fine. It appears to be used for data only. Some Chromebooks can store Netflix/Disney/Amazon videos to the SD card, but for some reason this model can't.

After installing 8-10 apps I would normally use, I only had 15GB free. Given movies are 2-3ish GB with most streaming and I'd want to keep 4-5GB free for other storage/downloads/updates, I was only going to get 4-6 movies downloaded at a time.

I ordered a 256GB M.2 for the Flex 5 I got so I should have plenty of space.

I unboxed mine last night after waiting on the cashback deal going through.
Both box and plastic bag were sealed with tamper proof tape.
However, when I removed it from the bag there were distinct greasy/oily finger mark outlines on the top lid. On further examination there are a series of scratch marks extending about 4" along the edge near the Lenovo badge.
Surprisingly, the screen appears to be blemish free.
I don't know whether the product has merely been repackaged or just poor quality control.
Suffice to say, I wasn't happy and opted for a replacement over refund.
Buyer beware if you happen to get my cosmetic dud!

The left click on the Touchpad works fine.
I hope this helps you decide whether to return the item.
