I have the half off deal, and I am honestly having a hard time justifying that. I haven't watched anything on HBO/MAX for a couple of months.

So here's something to think about. If you have never had an account at the cb site not to be named, they are offering a $30 bonus for referrals (new account holder & current account holder), once you spend $25.

So have friend who uses the site send you a referral link, sign up, get the annual hbo max plan through the cb site, use your amex card (if you have the hbo max offer) & hbo max ad free for the year will be $34.

Unfortunately tax was a lot on the $105 but will still be $48 for the year with tax. I'm hoping it all works. lol

Can you sign up for this and immediately quit and then just have the sub run out after a year?

Don't buy. It's waste. They are not the HBO of the early 2000s anymore. They are going down with competition. Don't waste your money.

I haven't watched an old movie like that in a very long time. All About Eve, is one of my favorites. Errol Flynn and Tyrone Power too.

Took the offer along with the Amex offer. Not bad. Let's see how the GOT spin-off is.

The ad-free plan is equally discounted if you read past the thread title.

Won't let you renew before your sub ends even if it's in cancelled status. Amex offer ends 9/15 for me and my sub ends 9/26. 🥴
Cancel.. set up a new subscription with a different email address.

canceling and signing up with a different email? does that work? I would prefer I can keep using the same Amex card tho.
Exactly what I did.. used same Amex card.
