Anyone know if I can use this to add a year if I'm having HBO max thru an Internet carrier? It's one of those deals that get me free HBO max for the 1st year only. Thanks!
If you already have HBO through your internet provider then just download HBO Max app and set up/log into you account. It will have you verify your account/service provider/ect. by sending a code to your phone. There is no need to pay for it again until your year of "free" service runs out.

I am not understanding how to renew at this sale price. I just see that it's going to charge me $149 at renewal on ad-free.

Thank you! AT&T fiber no longer includes HBO max unless you keep the same plan. Ours went up $20 a month and to get the -$20.00 discount we had to give up HBO Max. I appreciate you posting, thank you!

Not gonna look through all the comments to see if it's been brought up or not, but if you use 'a certain website that starts with an R and ends with an N and is seven chars long', you get $16 off on the yearly plan, so that comes out to a measely $7.42/mo.

Anyone receive the $25 credit from American Express yet?

Received the email that acknowledged my use of the promotion but haven't received the credit yet. Other times that I have used the Amex promotions, the cashback showed up right away.

Thanks

My discounted monthly sub ends this month and was planning on canceling it. I am on the fence about renewing it again for a full year. Honestly HBO Max just sits idle for me most of the time. It's not that they don't have good shows but once you're done with them, there is nothing else on there but an occasional old movie I might want to re-watch. At least for a short time they had in-theater movies to watch but now that's done so I watch HBO even less.

I am more of a binge watcher so HBO doesn't appeal to me as netflix. Waiting a week for another episode just sucks. I spend one day per weekend on one show and finish it. I like that setup much better. I am trying to do the weekly thing on House of the Dragon but I am not enjoying it more (as some have tried to tell me is the better way to watch but it absolutely is NOT).

The only thing that is wanting me to get in on this deal is House of the Dragon (just to finish it) and The Last of Us coming in January. I loved Barry but honestly S3 ended in what I would consider a decent series finale and feel like it's S4 renewal might be unwelcome. Not sure what's a better way to go, wait till all episodes are available of the shows I want and subscribe for one month or just get the year and have the occasional good movie to watch while I wait.

wow, they think harassing you, and wasting your time with ads is only worth 35 bucks a month, I wonder how much they make off of it.

Well that's just not true. And if you want to get technical, well I won't give any spoilers but yeah what you said just isn't true.

That price difference is per year, not per month.

Cancel your current subscription and setup a new account using a different email address. Worked perfect for me doing that.

I dunno. Most ads are pretty terrible and repeat way too often. For only 2.92 per month that sounds like a pretty good deal.
