$70 is with ads just to note.
Worth it with Amex $25 offer?
I have the half off deal, and I am honestly having a hard time justifying that. I haven't watched anything on HBO/MAX for a couple of months.

I don't have Amex so no $50 off offer for me.

I just signed up for no ads and here's my break down.

HBO annual ad-free with tax = $113.39 - Sam's $17(Shows pending) - RK $16 (isn't showing yet) = $80.39 which spread out comes to $6.70 a month. Once the cash back clears I'll cancel auto renewal.

I used a Privacy card so hopefully everything works since they changed from debit to credit cards.

I cancelled my membership with 1 month left at half off. Couldnt justify even that. To know HBO is pulling back on content and still pay them is a fools errand. Cant say i miss it, and game of thrones is hardly enough of a reason to want it back.

They have a lot of great shows on there such as The Rehearsal, Euphoria, and Barry to name a few.
Yeah until scumbag Zaslov decides to stop streaming those shows like he has so many, screwing over their creators. Absolutely no on HBO if you care at all about creators. They have even pulled stuff that people paid per season and made it no longer in their catalog (but please let's not get started about physical media, it's been done too many times)

I used TopCB for supposedly $18.90 in CB Sunday afternoon and it has not posted.
Has anyone gotten the cashback from top?

Yes, I did last month. It took about 2-3 weeks for Rak to credit my account. Amex took about a week or two to credit.

I made the mistake of taking this offer with the $50 credit using Amex. I thought you could get both HBO Max and HBO. You can but not live HBO. Nothing on the content of HBO Max would be worth paying full price of even half price. Wait till closer to Black Friday there will be better streaming deals for less money. Too late for me already paid for one year up front.

My apologies if someone else posted this, here is my AMEX offer you had to sign up for by 10/14/22:

DETAILS
Enroll by 10/14/2022. Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single annual subscription purchase of $99 or more online at hbomax.com by 10/20/2022. See terms.

If you can use it $50 off $104 = $54 for Ad Free

OFFER TERMS
You must first add offer to an eligible Card by 10/14/2022 and then use same Card to make a single annual subscription purchase of $99 or more online at hbomax.com by 10/20/2022 to receive a one-time statement credit of $50. Only U.S.-issued Consumer and Small Business American Express® Cards are eligible. American Express Prepaid Cards, Corporate Cards and American Express Cards issued outside the United States are not eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid online at US website hbomax.com for an annual subscription purchase. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Purchases may not qualify if not billed directly by the merchant. For example, if you purchased your subscription through a third party device/digital platform, you may get billed by the party you signed up with, and not directly by the merchant. Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 10/20/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from the merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive the statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. not sure what you mean by posted since that's not one of the options. if it is listed it will say pending, confirmed, payable, claimed, or declined. mine says pending since 10/10.

i mean that it's not showing any indication that there was a purchase made with the link.
how long after you made the purchase did it take to say it was pending?
I guess I should stop using tcb. i've had to chase a lot of cashback.
