Option 1

It only converts to the level you are currently at. So for the best deal, start a trial on the tier you want, then redeem the codes, unless you want to stack 4+ years of essential and then pay to upgrade as the upgrade fee gets capped after a certain point.

Am I correct in assuming that the availability of trials is region-specific, and that USA is not one that has them?

I think it is region specific. I'm not sure if they have it in the US or not. It'd still be cheaper to buy a month then use the codes than to use the codes and then upgrade, unless you stack a bunch of years to take advantage of the upgrade cap.

For example:
18+40+40=98 for 1 year and 1 month of premium
Vs
40+60=100 for 1 year of premium.

2 of them should equal 365 days or 1 year of Premium, so at $80 I'd say it's cheaper than $120.

I assume you would need to change your plan. You just get less time with the Premium plan but the voucher should still apply. See above for the conversion rates.

  2. Select Subscription from the menu on the left of the screen.
