Kinda depends on your garage. A regular freezer won't work if the temp goes above 110 or below 32 (F). A 'garage ready ' freezer is built to work in extreme temps above 110 or below 32.

Avail in Houston but the 7 Cu ft is only $20 more for $169. They are not frost free incase you wanted that option

I ended up buying the 7 cu. ft version for $20 more. Not sure if it's a deal or not, but my extremely old hand me down freezer died a year ago.

I wouldn't mind having one of these to put fish bait in, but I've already got a full sized upright freezer and a full sized refrigerator/freezer in my garage, so I'm not sure my garage electrical circuit can take another appliance out there. I think that breaker is a 15 amp. Anyone know what kind of wattage these pull?
