Anyone actually have experience regarding these? I had the previous version and it barely held a charge let alone barely start my little mazda with a 1.5 4 cyl 😂

In general I think LiPo batteries are not suitable for this application (jump starting). They're prone to damage in high heat like being in a car in the sun, damage from being kept at a high charge and are a fire hazard.

If you want something reliable and not a fire hazard, look for LiFePO4-based jump starters

I have a couple of these. I have had no issues with them starting a car. They have held a charge just fine and sit in the truck of the cars. I check them for charge every couple months. No Issues. I do think I got them for less then 50 tho....

I have this particular one and it is awesome. Actually jumped my friends car who couldn't jump it after trying to different full size jump boxes. I would, and have, suggest this to anyone.

Those all over on amazon.com and ebay NOT RELIABLE; cheap cells, etc.

The one I linked gets better reviews on Amazon than ones of the same brand as the Costco one. So what's your point exactly? You're just woofing because you're cranky or something. Stick Out Tongue

FYI Costco sells a lot of crap just like other stores. You can't assume that just because Costco sells it it's great shit. Sure, Costco has a good return policy but it might be a very long time before you realize that what you're bought there is crap.
