Received 2 Hangs yesterday. Both look brand new. They both work and I rode them around the block once at 15mph. They seem good so far, but I only rode them for 2 mins on flat ground.
Update. 1 of my 2 scooters stopped working after 1 mile of riding. The screen went out. Now it only works by holding the power button for 5 seconds and continuously holding the button and the wheel will spin. Seems like the display or controller is broken. Will try to contact customer service. Seems like pretty poor parts or quality contol.

Received after 9 days shipping. No scratches or scuff marks, tires half inflated. 4 screw assembly, let charge for 2 hours, pumped up tires with provided air pump(garbage) til they didn't flex too much. Rode around the block plus some and surprised at how quick it moves on flat surfaces.
Any uphill and all the power is gone albeit I'm 30lbs over the rated max. $240 superfuntime for a toy or to the local bar.. Ymmv
Would buy again.

I have had my Hang 5 for a week went to try out a serious hill nearby a couple of days ago. Never made it. Did a face plant while transitioning from street to sidewalk. Curb cut had about a 3/4" Lip, hit it at an angle and I was picking myself up from the sidewalk. Nine stitches in my lip, banged up tooth, two jammed fingers, bruised knee, scratched glasses and scratched ewatch screen. Now I know how I will go down so ordered full face bike helmet. Bell Servo see it here:

Got my Juice 5 yesterday and was very excited, everything looked new and in good condition. For the money, it seemed like a decent quality scooter. I have since found two major problems with it, I have already tried to contact JoyRide for a return (unless they can somehow fix them?), I am wondering if anyone has any insight into either of these:

1. The charger gets VERY hot when charging the scooter, I measured 151F with an infrared thermometer. There is no way this could be the design specification could it? To fix this problem I would need a charger that doesn't get this hot.

On the plus side, the scooter battery itself doesn't get hot, but I can't have something get that hot in the house as it is a fire hazard.

2. The rear tire does not hold air, when I try to pump it it starts hissing and lets all the air out. I am not sure how to fix this, I briefly inspected the tire and did not see a hole. I cannot submerge it in water to see where it's coming from since I can't unmount it as far as I can tell; not sure how they could fix this for me (and how I would fix this going forward if/when I got a puncture, if it were first fixed now as a new product).

I would otherwise love to keep the scooter if these problems could be fixed.

I think 151F is fine, the average temperature of a computer is between 100-150F.

I think you are in the minority here FYI. Most people are happy with their said purchase but it seems like their non-existent support will be the issue. In the other Bike thread not many people are complaining about not getting their items as the issues are related to support and QC.

If you haven't had contact with them I'd say in a week or so i'd dispute the charge with your CC.

Shahhere

I called them last week and I called today idk if they are even looking up my order or just just saying they will try to expedite it just so it makes them look like they are doing something about it.
I really wanted and needed that bike at such a good price i couldn't say no.

I just started my dispute.... it's been > 2 weeks and no traction on my shipping status. Just says label created. No response on email or phone calls. Buyer beware... Glad some ppl are happy with their product though, but sounds like a hit or miss...

what is the phone number? I called (435) 753-7175, which is not this company, it is Joyridebikes.com, and this company is Joyridebike.com.

Both of my Hang 5 arrived last week. They appear to be like new/mint. Had all the plastics and zip ties. Did a quick test a few days ago and was decent. I tried both again on some hills, one of them died half way up... the battery was showing 4/5 when I started at the bottom of the hill. It would not turn back on. The other scooter tested fine on the hill but that had 5/5 charge when I started at the bottom. Will fully charge the "defective" one and try again later...
