PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
I purchased an e-bike from this company. The bike arrived damaged, but joyride sent replacement parts. Unfortunately the battery still did not fit onto the bike. The company then stopped responding to my emails. I now have an expensive nonfunctional e-bike and threw away nearly $1000! I honestly can't even believe it. Personally, I wish I'd gone with another brand.
Seems like a legit company but sounds like bad news if you have a problem they don't want to deal with.
I regret selling my Xiaomi Pro….
After getting my scooter, I was so impressed that I ordered the Laguna ST cruiser bike for my wife as a surprise for her birthday. That one came in at $960 with free shipping and no tax. (https://corporate.joyri

But so far as a commuter scooter it's done quite well. It's really fun to ride and at top speed I zoom past most bicyclists; I think the only one I encountered that outpaced me was riding an e-bike. It can be tricky to set cruise control to the highest speed because doing so requires you to release the accelerator, but other than that I don't really have any complaints. The biggest headache is specific to me, because I live on the 3rd floor of my building, in that I have to lug 40lbs (including the heavy U-lock I have attached to it) up and down two flights of stairs every time I want to use it.
I should mention the tracking status was stalled for an entire week until I sent them an email (but got no response.) Two days later FedEx updated the tracking status and arrived a day later.

I got one and I love it. The strap cushion is very comfortable, the strap is highly adjustable, and has a good build quality.

In fact today I got my scooter and it appears new. Another poster commented that the charger got extremely hot but mine is cool to the touch. The entire scooter is UL listed as is the scooter charger. A huge benefit because of cheap electric scooters catching fire.

1. The charger gets VERY hot when charging the scooter, I measured 151F with an infrared thermometer. There is no way this could be the design specification could it? To fix this problem I would need a charger that doesn't get this hot.
On the plus side, the scooter battery itself doesn't get hot, but I can't have something get that hot in the house as it is a fire hazard.
2. The rear tire does not hold air, when I try to pump it it starts hissing and lets all the air out. I am not sure how to fix this, I briefly inspected the tire and did not see a hole. I cannot submerge it in water to see where it's coming from since I can't unmount it as far as I can tell; not sure how they could fix this for me (and how I would fix this going forward if/when I got a puncture, if it were first fixed now as a new product).
I would otherwise love to keep the scooter if these problems could be fixed.
EDIT: charger gets pretty hot, up to 140F/60degC. Could it be defective?
I'm guessing it's going to be really difficult to return the scooter for a full refund (including return shipping fees which are going to be high given the weight) or receive a warranty replacement. This will probably end up being a credit card dispute. Buyer beware!
