I have to disagree on the sequels...they are actually great as the reader matures. I first read Ender's Game when I was 12 years old, immediately after finishing it, I read it again. I read the sequels and parralel story lines, but they were very difficult to follow and understand. When I revisited the Ender's Game universe in my 20s, I was blown away at how great the sequels are. Orson Scott Card is probably the best contemporary storyteller. His other series, although not as good as the Ender's Game series, are fabulous reads.

If you haven't read Ender's Game or Ender's Shadow, you should pick it up immediately.
I'm a big fan of the first book. Didn't like the rest of them though.

Fantastic audiobook! The dramatized version is very well done too. Contains some of the narrators from the original audiobook. Well worth the $3!

Absolutely worth every penny at full price. If you've scrolled to the comments to see if it's worth it at this price, this is a steal.

Agreed. Sequels were boring. Did you read the Enders Shadow series written from Beans perspective? All were amazing and worth the read.

I assume everyone knows at this point, but great book.

Later ones in the series are very different, more philosophical. I loved them, but they will not appeal to everyone who likes this book.

Ender's Shadow is more similar to this one and the opening chapter or two about Bean's life on the streets is fantastic.

Most libraries have hoopa and or Libby now since Covid for ebooks and e audio. Such convenience to borrow online and don't have to remember to return since that is automatic unless you want to return early for the next person waiting. Also discovered a Kindle Paperwhite is best device for me to read ebooks because of its font choices, non glare screen, small size and light weight. Oh did I mention one can download maybe more than 20 books! The one draw back is pictures are not legible so travel guide books are only so so.

You can install kindle reader on your phone and put the travel guides there. Perfect for traveling and the pics are clear.
