Google One is useful if you use Google Photos instead of iCloud for photos.
^ I made this mistake last year for this deal thinking I would wait it out till a black friday sale and then when I went to use it, Google told me they wouldn't actually bill the account till December after that one expired.
But this year it doesn't expire till 2023, so if you wanna wait till BF and get a bundle deal, wait!

Currently have 2 users on my Google one family plan for 2TB paying monthly
My other personal account got the offer for the free nest hub with 2TB annual sub
Am I able to sign up on the account with the hub offer then add the main account to maintain my photos?
