I'm about to try to find a few minutes to look into this model but wanted to ask the community if anyone has any experience with this first.
I just bought this Aiyima T9 tube amp on Amazon last month based on the Cheap Audio Man YouTube channel recommendation and it is fantastic: https://a.co/d/fqFVJ2o
This Monoprice wins in price here but there is no remote which I didn't think I would mind but I have gotten very used to using the remote for volume control. In curious if anyone that currently owns this can share their thoughts. Thanks in advance

Isn't monoprice is more reputable brand tho? Like a safer bet plus cheaper.

They are more well known. Some of the most important hardware used in the Aiyima unit is also very reputable though. I wouldn't necessarily say it is safer based on brand with how popular the Aiyima is.
The video review I linked is by one of my favorite YouTubers. He gives no BS analysis of the good and bad for the unit but mainly had very high praise. If the Monoprice wasn't on sale for this price, I honestly wouldn't even consider it lol. I just like audio equipment and playing with new toys (too much, according to my wife)

It's very cheap. Sides are plastic as is the cover over the output transformers and none really fit very well. The faceplate is aluminum, and the chassis cover on top and back is steel. Performance wise, it's adequate. i feel like yours is the better bet and just stick with it. Mine's sitting on my bench with possible plans to replace the plastic pieces with metal and the sides out of wood, just for aesthetics.

Oops. I guess he had two videos about the Aiyima T9. This is the one that originally sold me on it: https://youtu.be/Ol_JNCIyqi8
I've tried a different model of tube amps from monoprice before and i ended up getting a replacement and then i ended up returning it both of the amps had a hissing noise when no audio was going through the headphones. This isnt the same model as the one I ordered but I guess buy with caution.
looks like AIYIMA T9 is a better buy?
at least it came with a DAC for what's worth.
But, the T9 claims 100W per channel? for that size? even for class D amp, that sound really bogus to me unless THD is completely off the window

6K9 tubes aren't output tubes. They live in the preamp stage. It's likely a typical class d amp.

Not arguing against that, but have you looked at T9 size? Even for class D that's insanely small for 100w per channel. The cooling required to drive high current MOSFET isn't really possible at that size

Most amps aren't pushing the reported watts/channel. It's safe to bet it is inflated reporting based on the Texas instruments reported specs. I own the T9 and never even come close to pushing it hard because it is PLENTY loud without audible distortion. I'm only using it with bookshelf speakers for a stereo music setup. Not sure what you are trying to push but I wouldn't take the specs at face value or write the product off because of that either

I'm not sure if there is one there for this but they have a lot of recommendations at different price levels.
