This 3 pc set went FP at least twice before at around $8. Basically a half lb mallet, one pound mallet, and 1.5 lb mallet. Looks like solid hardwood handles, as well. Great deal at this price. Just a note - those little half pound mallets are really convenient, and are often quite a bit more expensive than the bigger one pounders... and they're also hard to find (HFT doesn't even sell them as far as I'm aware).

i got these a few months ago for $9. def solid. i used them alot while renovating my house. more then worth it. i'd say they are better then HF. Not that the HF ones are bad, these are just better.

Harbor freight 1lb is $2.99, 24oz is $3.99. I don't really have a need for multiple sizes myself so probably just grab a harbor freight one next time there is a 20% off single item $10 or less deal.

Serious question, what would require various sized rubber mallets like the ones in this deal? I have a small rubber mallet for small things like roll pins, and I have a large rubber mallet for heavier things like auto parts. Not sure what the proper use is for these 3.
