If have to make a computer like this myself, is it going to cost around the same? Would have wanted a case with glass on the sides.

I think it will cost more. Check the price CPU and the graphic card price on Amazon and you will find out.

Great one...! too bad it does not have any DisplayPort. I need 3 display ports! I thought the Nvidia 3060 has 3 DisplayPorts? In the picture provided there's only 1 HDMI and another 1 regular old connector for display. tell me I'm wrong
Chances are you are wrong. That image doesn't show the graphics card. The hdmi and vga slot you see is from the motherboard.
As a miner I have a few 3060s and they all are 3 DP and 1 hdmi. This desktop most likely has 3 DP and 1 hdmi.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I am tempted with this and was at costco this afternoon. Saw a display and decided to take off the side panel and check out the inside

1. PSU is standard atx. Can be replaceable. But depth is limited. So most likely you wont able to upgrade to 800-1k watt psu. 650 watt psu most likely will fit
2. There are 3 dp and 1 hdmi output on the gpu card
3. There is a cross bar on top of the cpu cooler, so wont able to upgrade to vt heatsink version. Upgrade will be limited to horizontal heatsink.
4. Only have 1 extra x1 pcie slot
5. I didn't see a wifi card and how many ram slots it has

Still tempting

I have it in a diy build and it's awesome.
I was going to do a DIY, haven't done this in a long time. Should i buy this instead and add more to this to make it better.

1. is it a good value Versus DIY build ?

2 I can add more RAM (not sure how many slots this motherboard has, you know how much will be the max I can add and how many slots this has? can't find details)

3. is this the processor: https://www.newegg.com/intel-core...6819118368

4. is this the gpu https://www.newegg.com/evga-gefor...6814487564

5. these kind of systems can be upgraded in future or not worth the hassle later, say after 3-4 years.

6. It can have only two monitors attached ,1 x VGA, 1x HDMI 2.0b ?

Anyone know how many PCIe 16x slots this has? Trying to find a gaming desktop that has a graphics card but also leaves one or more 8x or higher PCIe slots available.

The ones I linked have lower spec but are $200-400 cheaper. There are constant laptop deals around $1000 that are comparable in specs.

Again, Laptop comes with monitor, keyboard, webcam, UPS, portability, efficiency, touchpad, speaker etc.. All those things alone is worth the price.

And Yes, you can dock a laptop and use it as a desktop.
Except a desktop cpu / gpu is faster than a laptop cpu / gpu of the same generation and name. A 12th gen i7 dekstop is faster than a 12th gen i7 laptop cpu of the same/similar name. So a similar "spec" laptop will be slower than a similar "spec" desktop. You are saying this is a bad deal because a similar "spec" laptop would be cheaper and then use as examples laptop with one or more of the following: less ram, less storage, older gen cpus and even lower "spec" gpus.

A similar spec laptop would be a 12th gen i7 or AMD series 6000 laptop cpu with 16gb, 512gb to 1tb ssd and 3060 or 6700s gpu. You won't find that for $1000. You would need older gen on one or more of the components to come close to $1k.

He's referencing the Ethereum merge. Nobody is currently buying GPUs at a premium to mine so this is somewhat priced in already. Might be a big surge in used cards after the 15th though.
Stupid ass bitcoin causing our GPU prices to go crazy.....good we are rid of this parasite approach to develop blocks. Bitcoin will probably be worthless once a few bigger investors dump their shares..

What is The Merge?
The Merge represents the joining of the existing execution layer of Ethereum (the Mainnet we use today) with its new proof-of-stake consensus layer, the Beacon Chain. It eliminates the need for energy-intensive mining and instead secures the network using staked ETH. A truly exciting step in realizing the Ethereum vision – more scalability, security, and sustainability.
